7/8 Days
Five Awesome Spring Break destinations at one great price! It's South-of-the-border time on Gus's Annual Spring Break Odyssey. Can you handle it?
Day 1 & 2
Welcome the warm sun and then blast across the border into Rosarito Beach where we'll hit all the famous spring break pubs and clubs like Papas & Beer, Iggies, Senor Frogs and more just in time to get our groove on. Get ready for some beach fun too because we'll be crashing for the night right next to the beach and practically in the center of Rosarito Beach.
During the day there'll be optional horseback rides, beach sports, some cool art galleries, and major shopping opportunities. If you're lucky you might even spot the illusive Tijuana donkey. Just so we get it right, we'll take one more night to experience the pumpin' beats and then we'll pile into Gus the Beach Bus for our next stop. Can you say "hidden desert hot springs oasis dance party"?
Day 3
It's Dance Party time in the desert at the hidden Desert Oasis Hot Springs, a beautiful desert oasis on the edge of a huge dry lake bed. This is a private dance party among the soothing hot spring fed hot tubs and mud baths. Two nights will be spent here where the only rule is to relax among the palms, work on that tan and practice those dance moves. Of course, you could just spend all day hanging in a naturally heated hot tub, sipping a Margarita.
At night it's a massive private party on the dance floor under the stars. Beer and margaritas will be served to the beat. During the day-time you can hike up to the crystal clear waterfalls that are perfect for the warm desert days. Swim in one of the seven natural pools or just relax to the sounds of birds and running water. Later, hang by the campfire and swap travel stories with new and old friends.
Day 4 & 5
The Odyssey continues. We slide into San Felipe in time to hit up all the taquerias, cantinas and fiestas!
Throughout the day there are many things to do: Besides working on your tan on the beach, you could check out the 1000 year-old monster cacti at the Natural Park, go on a short boat ride to Konsag Island to see sea lions, seals, and massive colonies of sea birds, or chill in an ocean-side cantina.
At night it'll be thumpin'. San Felipe might be said to have an even greater selection of clubs and cantinas than Rosarito Beach. You could party all night and never have to go to the same place twice! Party on!
Rockadile's 16,000 square feet of entertainment is a must, and perhaps the Club Miramar or the Boom Boom Room are playing the best music all night long, if you have the stamina.
The fiesta continues spring break style where we rock n' road in the red road ship Gus to the next pumpin' destination - The Ensenada Strip.
Day 6 & 7
Ensenada has long held a reputation to rival that of Tijuana as a party town with clubs like Papas and Beer, Habana Cabana and legendary Cantinas like Hussongs. It has everything you could want for a good night out and more, dancing, clubbing, karoke and some of the best fish tacos ever. Once on the strip, explore the waterfront, shop, or take a horse drawn carriage through the town. It's a rush.
We'll be staying near the center of town so whenever you're in need, a cold drink or a hot shower will only be 5 minutes away. During the day, you can hit the beach or check out the shops for souvenirs, or go horseback riding around the area.
Day 7 & 8 (Optional)
During the day, we'll slowly wind up through the hills to the border, stopping for some tasty tacos along the way. Welcome to Tijuana! This part's all optional.
Once in TJ you can either head back or staying one extra night to get the TJ experience with one of the Baja Trek crew. In Tijuana, hit the famous tourist district, ride a mechanical bull, or saddle up and have your picture taken with the legendary Tijuana Zebra. Then it's time to wrap that tan up to go, pocket some souvenirs and say 'Adios Amigos' with promises to keep in touch!
