Are you falling in love with Baja? We have... Why not stay after your adventure is over and help make the world a better place by volunteering in Baja California, Mexico? You can contribute to our very own efforts to lend a helping hand to those in need in our surroundings, or you can join another organization in Baja. From working with animals to helping in Baja's orphanages, there are many ways for you to help out. It's as simple as teaching a kid how to play guitar! By helping out, you are making a difference and also can earn valuable Trek Points toward a free trek! We are in the process of experimenting with the art of mobile movies (mobmovs). Mobile Movies are a modern version of a drive-in movie theater except that the movie plays wherever you are. How about a flick on the beach under the stars? We presently have access to movies in the public domain, but would like to show case people's talent. So if you have a homegrown movie or documentary or are a film student and would be interested in having your stuff seen please let us know. You can learn more about it at mobmov.org

Help out some kids this holiday season by donating canned goods and unwanted toys. Each year Baja Trek runs a Tot Program for the local community during the holiday season where some of the crew load up an old Volkswagen Bus with donated goods and gifts for children of families in rural Mexico. Often, we are their only holiday cheer. We collect canned goods and new or used toys in good shape that are in presentable condition all year-round to prepare. Wanna help? How about being a Santa and making someone smile.

We also volunteer regularly at El Faro Orphanage in Tijuana. These are great kids that crave our attention 24/7! If you want to join us on a volunteer trip, contact us to find out when our next run will be.
