And if you haven't yet, please check out our FAQs and Why Not Baja Trek to see what we're really all about!
Day 1
We'll get the weekend started right and meet up in the morning at the border, where we'll pile into Gus the Baja Beach Bus for a leisurely drive to Rosarito Beach, where we will park next to the famous beach club, Papas and Beer. We'll hang out in Rosarito Beach till about 2:00 PM so that you can eat, shop, and ride horses on the beach or drink and get crazy at Papas and Beer.
From Rosarito Beach we will make our way to Alisitos which overlooks the beach and set up our camp. Alisitos Beach Camp has bathrooms and showers. Once camp is set up we will sit around the camp fire, tell stories and enjoy each others friendship.
You can sleep in your tent or on the Beach Bus or you have the option of staying at The La Fonda Hotel instead of camping. The rooms are about $75.00 per night with one or two beds. The Hotel is 15 minute walk from the campsite. Be sure to bring your surfboard or inflatable Kayak if you want to surf the famous K58 on Sunday.
Day 2
The next morning ( Sunday ) we will go to The La Fonda Hotel for the buffet brunch with unlimited margaritas ( $14.95 ). After the brunch we head back to camp to relax, surf or enjoy the beach scenery. At about 5 PM we will head back to the border. Hasta la vista amigos!
